So I went to a motocross track with my friend and got some pictures of him. 1 word... Awesome! I am really thinking about getting into it. But I saw something.

I normally ride downhill and freeride mountain bikes, but saw some "clips" or things that would look like they clip on, on the inside diameter of the wheel by the hub. I've never seen these in downhill, but they look sick, I don't know what they are, but they are "V" shaped sort of, and I saw them in blue and red on a few different bikes. They look like they clip onto 2 spokes. I am pretty sure they were not part of the hub and I know they where not the disc mounting tabs on the hubs, because they were on both sides.

Maybe they are just part of the rim's design, I am unsure, but if you could answer this, that would be excellent!

Thank you.

No no, I am looking for the clip ons that keep spokes from moving during moto's. I heard from a fellow mountain biker that they use them because when a pro is hammering around a track and casing stuff here and there and nailing whoops, the spokes tend to become a bit loose.

They look cool, and are effective.
